In the Ndamji tribe, when a woman marries, they are dressed with multiicolored beaded necklesses, cowrie shells, metal strips and leather - they become fertility dolls. This beautiful African wooden statue is from the Ndamji tribe from Northern Cameroon. Mask represents the protective spirit of women of the tribe.
