This African tribal statue would be used during the Kwele tribe rituals and ceremonies. One of such rituals would begin with men leaving the village and setting out into the forrest to hunt antelope. African Kwele statue's faces are usually painted in white kaolin, representing light and clarity in their fight against evil spirits.
